Early Detection Means Successful Treatment

According to the American college of cardiology peripheral artery disease, or PAD affects 8 million Americans--and many don't know they have it.  Peripheral arterial disease is a very serious condition that happens when fatty deposits build up in arteries outside of the heart.  PAD is dangerous because these blockages can restrict circulation to the limbs, organs and brain leading to heart attack or stroke.

Peripheral vascular screenings 

  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA)​
  • Peripheral Artery Disease (ABI)
  • Carotid artery disease (stroke)

Diagnostic ultrasound exams (Physician order required)

  • Venous Duplex ultrasound (to rule out DVT)
  • Lower reflux exams (varicose veins & leaky valves)

  • General Abdominal ultrasound (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys



Exercise combats health conditions and diseases

Research has shown that exercise can be highly effective in increasing leg circulation and reducing symptoms associated with cardiovascular disease such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
